Day 01 : Delhi – Rishikesh, 235 Kms. Drive ( 6 ½ hrs) Morning drive to Rishikesh. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Rishikesh: Located on the banks of the holy Ganges, Rishikesh is a popular religious destination in India. Rishikesh has a number of ashrams and temples that make it an ideal destination for a religious tourist. But Rishikesh is an equally wonderful destination for an adventure traveler. Rishikesh provides wonderful opportunity for trekking, rock climbing and river rafting. Rishikesh is located in the state of Uttaranchal and is about 230 kilometers from Delhi Rishikesh is an exciting destination that is dotted with a number of temples and ashrams. Rishikesh is surrounded by the verdant forest and river Ganges flow through the town. Rishikesh has a number of tourist places that one can visit. Since Rishikesh is known as a pilgrimage center, religious places form a major chunk of tourist attractions in Rishikesh. Triveni Ghat is a popular place in Rishikesh. Many people take a dip at the ghat before visiting temples in Rishikesh. Lakshman Jhula is an important landmark in Rishikesh. Lakshman Jhula is basically a hanging bridge on the Ganges and the most popular spot in Rishikesh. Legend has it that Lakshman, the younger brother of lord Rama crossed the river using a hanging bridge made of jute. Ram Jhula is another famous place in Rishikesh where you can visit.The Aarti on the banks of the Ganges is what you should not miss on your tour to Rishikesh. The floating diyas (earthen lamps) present a wonderful view in the evening. The hymns and sound of bells creates a symphony of sorts during Aarti.
Day 02 : Rishikesh – Guptakashi (155 Kms.) Morning after breakfast drive to Guptakashi, along with the river Alaknanda and Mandakini, en-route visit Devprayag (the confluence of River Bhagirthi and Alaknada), Rudraprayag (the confluence of rive Alaknanda and Mandakini). On arrival at Guptakashi, check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Guptakashi - Kedarnath 32 kms Drive, 14 kms trek After breakfast pick up your packed Lunch and leave for Gaurikund ( 32 kms drive one way ) on arrival start your journey on the tough trek ahead. Stop for the lunch en - route and restart after that to arrive by late afternoon. On arrival check in at the hotel. After freshening up perform Pooja and also Darshan at the shri Kedarnath ji. In the evening also visit Adi Shankaracharya samadhi at the back of the temple. Dinner and overnight at tourist lodge.
Day 04 : Kedarnath - Guptkashi, 14 kms Trek, 32 kms drive – Pipalkoti ( 165 Km) After breakfast start you journey back to Gaurikund and on arrival leave for Guptkashi by road to reach the Camp by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05 : Pipalkoti - Badrinath - Pipalkoti 144 kms Drive After breakfast leave for Shri Badrinath ji, on arrival take the holy Darshan and spend time visiting Mana village the last village before the Tibet border. Come back to hotel (at Pipalkoti) for dinner and overnight.
Day 06 :Pipalkoti – Haridwar 242 Km (09 ½ hrs.) Morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar, on arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening visit Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight at hotel.
Haridwar : Haridwar is the gateway to the four pilgrimages of Uttaranchal. It's also your starting point on the journey to the sacred sources of the Ganga and the Yamuna Rivers. According to legend, Prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to Sage Kapila's curse. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth from Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful water revived the sons of King Sagara. In the tradition of Bhagirath, devout Hindus stand in the sacred waters here, praying for the salvation of their ancestors. The holy city of Haridwar is home to some of the Most sacred Hindu rituals. Round the year, devotees from all over the country flock here in their thousands to perform "Poojas" or prayers. Renowned for the "Maha Kumbh Mela" which appears Every 12 years and the enchanting "Aarti" at "Har Ki Pauri" which captives the beholder with hundreds of burning wick lamps floating down the Ganga, this town has been distinguished for centuries in the Indian society.
Day 07 : Haridwar - Delhi After breakfast leave for Delhi. Tour ends on arrival in Delhi.
